Black Women and Elected Leadership (BWEL) is a county-wide, non-partisan Political Action Committee.  BWEL strives to differentiate itself from other PACs in that it centers the holistic wellness of Black women as central to engaging in what is notably, an anti-Black, anti-female political system.

We pride ourselves as creatives, thought leaders, forward-looking power builders determined to do politics differently.  With a diverse group of contributors, BWEL provides much needed education and assistance typically out of reach to Black female candidates running for elected office.
